I would want to go to Washington D.C. because it is a very educational place. It has The White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Pentagon building near by in Virginia, all of which are important parts of history. We could tour the White House and the Pentagon building and vist the Pentagon memorial. Another day we could visit the Lincoln Memorial and learn about the history of it and what it represents. 1. White House 2. Lincoln Memorial 3. Pentagon building and Memorial
I would like to go to Philadelphia because it is also known for being very historical. Philadelphia has historical attractions such as the Liberty Bell and Besty Ross' Home. We could learn about the history of this country in the city where a lot of it happened. We could also visit the Franklin Institue to learn about science and the Philadelphia Museum of Art to learn about art history and techniques. 1. Liberty Bell 2. Besty Ross' House 3. Franklin Institute 4. Philadelphia Museum of Art http://www.philamuseum.org/
I think New York City would be a very educational place to visit as well. We could visit the Statue of Libery, the 9/11 Memorial, and Rockefeller Center which are all places with a lot of history. Fun things that we could do at these places would be taking a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and walking up. Another fun thing would be to go the the Top of the Rock Observation Deck in Rockefeller Center. 1. Statue of Liberty 2. 9/11 Memorial 3. Rockefeller Center http://www.rockefellercenter.com/
Sounds fun and educational!
